It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Following that I have these two lined up but as always it depends on my mood.

  3. OOh you read A Thousand Splendid Suns! I looked at that one today and almost added it to my reads for the upcoming week but passed due to other book commitments. Soon though :)

  4. I liked your Review for So Cold the River. That book has one of those cover that every time I pass it on the shelf, I just want to reach out and touch it. Good to know that book sounds like it is worth the read. Have a great week.

  7. I loved A Thousand Splendid Suns. Have you read the Kite Runner - another excellent Khaled Hosseini book. Jane Austen is also on my to read list - I'll get there one day!

  11. I enjoyed your review of the Lady of Butterflies, and I am wondering how you liked My Name is Memory? I know a lot of readers didn't like the ending, but I really enjoyed the book. Have great week

  12. I own My Name is Memory but I haven't had time to read it yet. I am glad you enjoyed A Thousand Splendid Suns. I really liked it and I thought The Kite Runner was even better. By Fire, By Water looks really interesting.

  13. You've listed two of my favorite novels: Northanger Abbey and Star of the Sea. I often feel like Northanger Abbey is overlooked when people consider reading Jane Austen, but I loved it.

  17. Jan - it was ok. I thought the ending was unsatisfying until I read somewhere that there's a sequel coming .
