The Spin Winner!

The Classics Club has spun the wheel and the winning number is - 13.

Unlucky for some, maybe, but not for me. The spin fairy has been kind and granted my wish for something small and manageable and I shall be reading.....

Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton

I downloaded this from Girlebooks quite some time ago but as with so many others it has had to sit there patiently waiting to be read. It's been a while since I read Edith Wharton so I'm looking forward to it.

Hope the spin was kind to you too!

  1. Yes, small and manageable, and Edith Wharton to boot - I'd call that and excellent result, and I hope you will too when you come to read.

  3. Our book club read this book last year and we loved it. The characters have so much depth, or I thought so anyway. Happy spinning.

  4. Oh dear, I am so bad, I can't remember whether I've read this or not. I'm sure a reread would not be a bad thing even if I have already. On another topic, isn't Girlebooks great? I also downloaded my spin choice, Bliss and Other Stories by Katherine Mansfield. I'm sad they are not still adding to their catalog but there are still a lot in there I haven't cracked open yet. Enjoy your spin read!
