Library Loot

Still gathering the loot in small numbers - these four I picked up before going away . A couple of crime novels because I seem to be overloading on historical fiction lately and wanted something different.

I enjoyed Juliet Marillier's Daughter of the Forest and can't wait to read the second of this trilogy - and Georgette Heyer to read  for the Classics Circuit Tour.

Hope you found some wonderful library loot this week !

  3. 'Faro's Daughter' is one of my favorite Heyer novels -- such delicious, witty fun! Now I want to go re-read it.

  4. I love Daughter of the Forest! The other two are good, but I didn't love them as much...probably because Sorcha wasn't main character. :D Heyer's so fun!

  5. Hard to decide what to read next but I think the Marillier - I know what you mean, Eva - sometimes you can never feel the same as for the first book so we'll see.

I have a Marillier out from the library at the moment, which will be my first experience of her writing.
