Suddenly it's Tuesday.....

......and I'm finding it hard to believe that I've posted nothing since last Wednesday. Yesterday's doesn't count as it was scheduled last Monday.
Too much happening in real life and most of it unexpected completely wiped out any semblance of routine I thought I had and left no time for blogging . Aggravating because this week I particularly wanted to be organised and have all my tour posts ready to go......which they aren't and must now be top priority for the rest of the week.
Meanwhile the great books I've read over the last few days must wait to be reviewed...........

So a quick recap for the records:  Last week I reviewed...

Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman
The Life O'Reilly by Brian Cohen - the author has generously offered a giveaway for this one which I'll be posting later today.

To be reviewed:
The Taste of Sorrow by Jude Morgan
Angelology by Danielle Trussoni
Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn
206 Bones by Kathy Reichs

This week:

The Spotlight Series is featuring books published by New York Review Books from 16-22 May. Click on button in my sidebar for daily tour stops.

Classic Circuits Golden Age of Detective Fiction begins today and continues until June 11. Again a click on button will give daily tour stops.

Despite being out of blogging action and feeling rather tired and frazzled last week did end on a high note. I received two new awards from two lovely ladies - CMash & Whitney - which brightened my day considerably. Thank you and I'll post about those properly later .

And I noticed the call for new reviewers posted by Angela from Renee's Reads who offered to take over the Royal Reviews site when Alaine, Annie and Teddyree decided they could no longer continue.  An opportunity not to be missed and I'm very excited at the prospect of becoming one of the RR team.

Now, back to those reviews. Hope everyone has a great week!

  1. I had that same kind of week. I hadn't posted anthing since last Wednesday couldn't muster the energy to even try. I decided to make a change this week. School is almost over for my oldest daughter, so I am hoping for long summer days of reading and blogging.

    Love that cat picture.

Good Luck with the Royal Reviews. It is always sad to see a good blog go. I hope it all works out.
