It's a love story as the author speaking through Daniel reminds the reader " There are so many things I've seen I could tell you about. But I'm telling you a story, a love story, and I will try with limited digressions to hold on to my thread".
Although I tried to keep that in mind , as Daniel jumped so quickly in and out of lives, I would have welcomed a few digressions.
This book lacked the depth of storyline and character development that I need to really capture my attention but it had it had it's moments and overall I did enjoy it as light, easy reading.
Too bad that it wasn't great cos from what you had to say it could have been. I am really liking what I hear

ReplyDeleteI considered it as a light reading too. There was so much in this book that disappointed me, starting with the writing. Being an adult book, I wish there had been more depth to this book.
