A weekly event organised by J.Kaye's Book Blog .
List the books completed last week, the books currently being read, and the books you plan to read this week.
Last week includes the week before as I was away celebrating the festive season with family. I finished Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran............review is here
I read The Help by Kathryn Stockett.........what a wonderful book. I'd read so much about it beforehand and it certainly lived up to expectations and I consider it one of the best I read in 2009. It's been well reviewed so I'm excusing myself from that.
Magpie Hall by Rachael King.............review is here
Roadside Crosses by Jeffery Deaver........to be reviewed this week.
Currently I'm reading:
The King's Daughter by Christie Dickason.
Following that the next in line are
The Book of Unholy Mischief by Elle Newmark
Relentless by Dean Koontz
The Help is great, isn't it? I really like the books you're reading now -- they look terrific. I look forward to your reviews.
ReplyDeleteI liked The Help too. I think it lives up to the hype.

ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about The Help. It has not interested me but after your brief blurb...maybe I should give the book a go.
Hope you have a fantastic week.
Deanna...I wasn't sure it would be my style either but I loved it so I hope you'll give it a try.
