Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Marg at The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader and Claire at The Captive Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library.

My library visits have been short over the last month so I really enjoyed having the time this week to browse quietly around the shelves. This is what I put in my loot bag today.

I'm excited about all of these and can't wait to open their pages although I do have a few ahead of them in the reading queue.

    I've seen Born Under a Million Suns a few times. Look forward to hearing what you think. And Shaun Tan is one of my favourites. I plan to take a in depth look at his work in June for my Australian Authors and Illustrators series I'm doing this year. Check out my loot here

    That looks like a great set of books. I loved Fall on Your Knees and I am waiting for Blue Eyed Boy to turn up in my library. And though i don't know the book I just love that last cover. Happy reading!

    Trish - so do I, there's quite as satisfying as a successful library looting!

    Marce - I've liked other books by Joanne Harris so hoping this will be a good one.

    Kylie/Fleur/Linda - The Arrival will be my first graphic novel. I've read great things about it but not sure how I'll like 'no words'!

    Misfit - 25! Might take a while :p
