Theme Thursday


This is a meme hosted by kavyen at Reading between Pages.. “Theme Thursdays” will be open from one Thursday to the next and anyone can post it. The rules are simple:

* A theme will be posted each week (on Thursdays)
* Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
* Post it and don’t forget to mention the author and the title of the book
* It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
* Since we may take a few days to finish a book, this event is open for one whole week

This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.

This weeks theme is - 

BODY PARTS (Hands, feet, fingers, waist etc)

I'm still on a crime reading spree so once again my choice is representative of the darker side of life.

    Oh, that is so sad...I hate in when small children are hurt or scared.

    I hope it really is okay for him. Like Lauren, I don't do well with books with children in danger.

    I know - it's hard to read about awful things happening to children but this has a very happy ending for the little boy.

    The poor boy! =( I hope there was no harm to him beyond the rashes.

    Here is my Theme Thursday post. It's representative of something darker, too, although that isn't evident until you know more about the book.
