This week I came home with four....
Fires in the Dark by Louise Doughty........a portrayal of Romany life, set in Czechoslovakia , through the depression of the 1930's to the Nazi invasion and the Prague uprising.
Have His Carcase by Dorothy Sayers......a Lord Peter Wimsey vintage mystery.
The Godwits Fly by Robin Hyde......for the Classics Club - I decided it was time I included a New Zealand classic.
The Outlander by Gil Adamson........1903 - a mysterious young woman flees alone into the icy western wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. For the Canadian Book Challenge.
What did you bring home from the library?
