The last ten days have been busy with a week away spending Christmas with Son 2 and his family, two quiet days recuperating, and another full house over this weekend. So, little or no time for blogging and this post has to be a short wrap up for the year. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be free to visit and comment on all the great end of year posts I'm reading.

Overall my best blogging year since I began three years ago. I made a resolution at the beginning of 2012 to detach myself from everything that put me under pressure and took all the fun out of blogging and to go back to what I intended when I began. It meant changes but I have stuck to the plan with the result I've really enjoyed the challenges, the readalongs and monthly events I've participated in.
Looking forward to sharing another great year of books and blogging with you all!

I'm going to have a lower "books read" total this year - but that's partly because I read some really long books!
