I haven't really thought of a list but I already have on hand...
The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton
My Brother Michael by Mary Stewart
The Ghost Riders of Ordebec by Fred Vargas
To read four books
I'm joining in for the first time this year, and it's such fun seeing all the lists. I know my own TBR list will be growing. I haven't heard of Eleanor Catton before, and though I've seen Fred Vargas's name, I don't know his books at all. Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI wasn't going to participate this year then changed my mind - it's always good fun. Eleanor Catton is a New Zealand author and The Luminaries is on the Booker longlist so a must read for me.
DeleteI'm not joining in this year, but I look forward to seeing what everyone reads. I'm glad to see a Mary Stewart on your list ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe Mary Stewart for your coming event - and it fits in nicely for RIP.
DeleteGood luck for the challenge! I'm taking part as well, it will be my first year.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy RIP - lots of scope within those categories so not hard to find something that's in with one's reading. Hope you will enjoy it!
DeleteWe're thinking along similar lines - My Brother Michael is on the bedside table and The Luminaries is on order.
ReplyDeleteI chose My Brother Michael for Anbolyn's event because nobody else had mentioned it! Great minds think alike. :-)
DeleteMary Stewart is on my list, too! I'll look forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteI think Mary Stewart is on quite a few lists. I'll look forward to your posts too!
