Library Loot

Hosted alternately by Marg at The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader and Eva at A Striped Armchair.
A meme to encourage bloggers to share all the wonderful loot they bring home from the library.

A quick trip to the library to pick up two I had on hold.

Columbine by David Cullen
Black Hills by Dan Simmons
Both of these look pretty hefty so I can see some renewing being done. I also changed the book on France I
brought home last week because I didn't like it for this one...

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay .....I know I'll like that.
The Telling by Jo Baker .....was on my Friday Finds a few weeks ago

Chinese Fairy Tales
Message from an Unknown Chinese Mother by Xinran
..........stories of love and loss from Chinese mothers who have lost their daughters. Nothing like preparing early - China is my country for May but I thought it might be fun to read the fairytales with my grandsons over the next few days .

What was in your loot this week?

  1. I've never heard of any of these books but The Telling looks really good, I love the cover.

  2. They all look very intersting, but that last one especially caught my eye

  3. I'm reading Columbine right now and totally loving it!!

  4. Cat, these books look awesome. I'd like to read Sarah's Key as well as the Dan Simmons book; enjoy

  5. Looks like some fun loot:) Fallen by Lauren Kate just came into the library for me - heard mixed reviews, but am looking forward to reading it. Have a great week!

  6. All of your loot looks great. I think Columbine and Message from an Unknown Chinese Mother would make me cry too much. Enjoy your books! :)
