It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila at BookJourney

Where we list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books we plan to read this week.

This week celebrates the first anniversary of Sheila's hosting of this meme and it's hard to believe that much time has gone so quickly. Thanks Sheila for all the hard work you put in to make It's Monday fun for all of us.

I usually read 3-4 books during a week but a combination of factors took last weeks total above the average. No visitors, miserable wet weather and the first three books were so good I was reading into the early hours of the morning. All three were very powerful and by the time I'd finished them I was an emotional wreck .............and my eyes were crying out for a rest.

  5. You had an awesome reading week! As for The Book Thief - do it! I'm reading it right now, after letting it sit on my shelf for over a year. I kept putting it off for a number of reasons, but I'm glad I finally decided to read it.

  12. Katherine - thanks for dropping by and I'm really enjoyment the Gaskell group read.

Trish/Alita - I'm quite surprised there are still many like me who haven't yet read The Book Thief.

    Marce - I'll do that! :-)

Misha - I enjoyed The Devil's Queen very much.

Jennifer/Joy/Crystal - it was a good week - think this one will be less reading.

Laurel Rain/Sheila/Nathalie - Every Last One was so good . I'm also loving Elizabeth Gaskell's shorter works.
