Library Loot

Hosted alternately by Marg at Reading Adventures and Eva at A Striped Armchair

It was a lovely long Easter weekend shared with family and it's also school holidays so I'm expecting more family next week. Which means I really should not have brought home anything from the library this morning - the pile is growing taller and taller and reading time is limited right now. But who can resist.......

Still Alice by Lisa Genova - had this one on my list for ages so wasn't going to let the opportunity go by when I saw it available.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger - I'm probably the only person in the world who hasn't read it yet!

My Lady Judge by Cora Harrison - Ireland in medieval times.
Rose En Marche by Jamie Ivey - for the World Party Challenge . April is France.

The Long Song by Andrea Levy - Jamaican history.
The House of a Thousand Lanterns by Victoria Holt - another for a challenge.

Hope your loot looks as good!

  7. Loved TTTW! Hope you enjoy it too! I know, it's very hard resisting going to the library even if you know you don't have time to read. :)

  8. I can never resist going to the library nor bringing piles of books home. Then there is the pleasure of lining all those gorgeous covers up for LL.
Jenny/Christine - I thought this was a lovely cover for Still Alice too. I saw it on Shelfari and preferred it to the one I have here.
