It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey

List the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books you plan to read this week.

A week seems to fly by so fast and although this one started quietly we've had family for the weekend to liven things up. Mother's Day here as in some other parts of the world so hope it was a happy day for everyone.

Books I reviewed last week:

The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent
Message from an Unknown Chinese Mother by Xinran
The Shifting Fog by Kate Morton
The Wilding by Maria McCann

Books I read last week:

The Taste of Sorrow by Jude Morgan
The Life O'Reilly By Brian Cohen
Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman
I Can See You by Karen Rose
English Trifle by Josi Kilpack

Currently I'm reading:

Angelology by Danielle Trussoni
Ngaio Marsh:Her Life in Crime by Joanne Drayton

Next I plan to read:
Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn
The Saffron Gate by Linda Holeman
I also have two that need to be read for scheduled posts at the end of the following week so hopefully will fit at least one of them in as well.
A Vintage Murder by Ngaio Marsh
The Strangers in the House by Georges Simenon.

Have a great reading week!

  6. Great review on the Heretic's Daughter. I really would love to read this one as I love books about the Salem Witch Trails, my favorite is A Break With Charity by Ann Rinaldi, which is a YA book. Have a great week.

  10. I love Neil Gaiman's short stories and have been more impressed with those then his novels. All though, Neverwhere was fun.

The Ngaio Marsh bio looks great. I love this type of biography and just ordered Every Other Inch a Lady about Beatrice Lillie the other day. I guess I am going to have to look out for this Ms. Marsh's bio now.
