Library Loot

Hosted alternately by Marg at The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader and Eva at A Striped Armchair.

A meme to encourage bloggers to share all the wonderful loot they bring home from the library.
No doubt about it - you cannot keep a serious library looter from her mission! Today I staggered home with this lot to add to the ever growing pile. Heavy on thrillers this week but I couldn't resist them.

Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn..........have had this one on hold and after all the wonderful reviews it's been getting I can't wait to read it.
Secrets of Eden by Chris Bohjalian........a haunting thriller and a deeply evocative testament to the inner complexities that mark all our lives.

Abandoned by Cody McFadyen........a Smoky Barrett thriller - I like this series.
206 Bones by Kathy Reichs........another favourite, Temperance Brennan and forensic science.

Shattered by Karen Robards......Nearly 30 years ago, a woman went missing. Dead? Nobody knew. This author is new to me although she seems to have written a few other books.
Don't Tell by Karen Rose...........another one I had on hold and wish it hadn't turned up right now as I'm reading her previous one.............I'll be overdosing on Karens!

What's in your loot this week?

  1. I got Mistress of Rome this week, too, from Goodreads Swap. Happy reading! Here's my Loot.

  2. Ohh Mistress of Rome, I hope you will like it cos I have sure seen those great reviews

  3. Great books to get. I also keep hearing good things about Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn and that's why I bought a copy of that book. It still hasn't arrived yet, but I hope that it will come this week. Want to start reading it. :)

    Have a great reading week!

  4. Sounds like there are going to be a few of us off to Rome very soon.

  5. Love the books in your list! Secrets of Eden is especially one of my TBR!

  6. I just brought Secrets of Eden home from the library too :) I've got like four books going right now.
