Library Loot

Hosted alternately by Marg at The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader and Eva at A Striped Armchair.

A meme to encourage bloggers to share all the wonderful loot they bring home from the library.
No doubt about it - you cannot keep a serious library looter from her mission! Today I staggered home with this lot to add to the ever growing pile. Heavy on thrillers this week but I couldn't resist them.

Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn..........have had this one on hold and after all the wonderful reviews it's been getting I can't wait to read it.
Secrets of Eden by Chris Bohjalian........a haunting thriller and a deeply evocative testament to the inner complexities that mark all our lives.

Abandoned by Cody McFadyen........a Smoky Barrett thriller - I like this series.
206 Bones by Kathy Reichs........another favourite, Temperance Brennan and forensic science.

Shattered by Karen Robards......Nearly 30 years ago, a woman went missing. Dead? Nobody knew. This author is new to me although she seems to have written a few other books.
Don't Tell by Karen Rose...........another one I had on hold and wish it hadn't turned up right now as I'm reading her previous one.............I'll be overdosing on Karens!

What's in your loot this week?

  3. Great books to get. I also keep hearing good things about Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn and that's why I bought a copy of that book. It still hasn't arrived yet, but I hope that it will come this week. Want to start reading it. :)

    Have a great reading week!
