Monthly Roundup - February 2011

February 2011.........and the last week has been one that will forever be etched into the hearts and minds of New Zealanders. My thoughts and prayers are constantly with all those who have lost or have missing loved ones, whose homes and livelihoods have been destroyed and now face the mammoth task of rebuilding their lives.
To see our beautiful 'garden city',  that I know and love so well , devastated by an earthquake still seems like some surreal dream. It's very distressing and I've found it impossible to focus on anything for any length of time .......not even reading.

So this is not my usual monthly review but just the list of books read for my records.

Total Books Read = 19

Daniel by Henning Mankell
Under This Unbroken Sky by Shandi Mitchell
Every Last One by Anna Quindlan
Season of Storms by Susanna Kearsley
Zeitoun by Dave Eggers
The Devil's Queen by Jeanne Kalogrides
Tell Tale by Sam Hayes
Someone Else's Son by Sam Hayes
Shark Music by Carol O'Connell
After the Fire, A Still Small Voice by Evie Wyld
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Coffins of Little Hope by Timothy Schaffert

The Doctor and the Diva by Adrienne McDonnell
The Devlin Diary by Christi Phillips

  1. This has been a tough time for New Zealand, I've seen the pictures and they are very very sad indeed.
