In no particular order of merit these are the books of historical fiction that I've enjoyed the most during 2011. The links will take you to my reviews.
I love historical fiction - what a great list, thank you! Although it may be my list for 2012 seeing as this year is just about over. I saw Caleb's Crossing was in The Listener as one of the most popular books of 2011 as well - it looks really good!
Stephanie/Marg - I loved Gillespie and I although I've seen some reviews thinking it was too long - I don't agree and it's a top recommendation from me this year.
BG - Some great books on that Listener list that I've yet to read. Caleb's Crossing is very good - hope you'll read and enjoy.
I haven't read any of these but I am especially excited for Gillespie and I.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these either! I have had the Jane Harris out from the library at some point this year.
